Job Description:
Pool cleaners keep pools clean, clear, and safe. They frequently utilize specialized equipment such as vacuums to remove debris, scrub the pool walls, and treat the water with chemicals or other treatments in order to keep it clean and safe.
Pool cleaners may also be responsible for the general upkeep of the pool area, such as cleaning the decking surrounding the pool, removing leaves from the adjacent landscaping, and so on.
Pool Cleaner Job Duties:
- Pool cleaners have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Using nets and other equipment to clear the pool of debris
- Add chemicals as needed to keep chemical concentrations constant
- Using a special pool vacuum to clean the bottom of the pool
- Testing the water’s temperature, chemical composition, and clarity
- Brushing the walls and vacuuming off the floor are two methods of cleaning a swimming pool
- Sweeping leaves and other debris off the pool deck is a standard procedure
- To verify that the pool equipment, such as filters and motors, are in good working order
- The water should be chlorinated to standards set by health organizations.
- Cleaning chemicals, such as pumps, filters, and heaters
